XKit Update Jan 25
Apparently, Tumblr is now adding that “+ Upload Photo” link to asks, so there are double links when answering asks if you are using XKit. This feature will be removed as soon as possible, via Automatic Updates. In the meanwhile, if you are impatient, you can turn it off by: Click on the X icon then Manage Extensions Select Fix and Tweaks, then Change the Settings of This Extension ...

"I can't see the X icon?"
As a fellow user warned me, you have to go to Preferences on Tumblr, and check “Show my unified Inbox” for the XKit icon to show up. This will be fixed as soon as possible. I am really sorry for any inconvenience.

"XKit is constantly re-installing itself!" and "I...
Yep. It’s a Chrome problem. and I know why it does it. There might be two reasons for that to happen, and here is how to fix it: It is because you are installing XKit from Userscripts.org, and not on the Download Now button on this blog. XKit for Chrome differs from XKit for Firefox, and the Userscript.org allows users to download the Firefox Edition. You have two XKits Installed! Click...

Important: Chrome Users!
If you are installing XKit, please do not use the version of XKit on located on userscripts.org (this page) Chrome users should use the version of XKit provided on the Download Now link on this blog. Otherwise, XKit might have some permission problems, which can lead to many errors. Thank you.

XKit Update Jan 18: "Silent" Update Manager
Yes, XKit is being updated often. And the Update Manager on XKit 5.0/5.1 displays a message every time it updates a part of XKit. I’ve been reading posts and getting messages on how this can be an annoyance to some, so I’ve disabled those messages. You should get the updates version in a few hours. If you do not, or wish to update now (recommended), please follow the following...

Reminder: Update your Update Manager!
If you have installed XKit before the last 12 hours, you might have a “broken” update manager. This might cause random error messages, and XKit might keep telling you that it updates certain packages, even though it doesn’t. Please follow the instructions here to fix it. Again, I am terribly sorry about this.

[Troubleshooting] If You Have Problems Installing...
Some versions of Google Chrome does not have “cross domain support”. If you are using the latest version of Chrome, and still experiencing problems, you might need to install one of the following...
