From time to time, you might need to manually update extensions. On XKit, extensions get updated automatically, every 2-3 hours. But sometimes, a bug might prevent XKit from updating itself, or you just might not want to wait that long for the bug fix.
So, here’s how to automatically update extensions:
XKit 5.x:
XKit 6:
Thank you.
Quick-Tip #2:
In case you didn’t know, the XCloud panel under the XKit Control Panel let’s your back up your XKit settings on STUDIOXENIX servers, so you don’t have to reinstall/re-customize all your extensions if you uninstall XKit or switch to another computer/browser.
Quick-Tip:
You can remove captions while using One-Click Postage and that small box that appears when you hover on one of the quick-reblog icons.
To do so:
If you are going to reblog/queue/draft to your main blog, you don’t need to click on the green button on the pop-up window. You can just click on the icon itself.
If you don’t have any sideblogs, or don’t care for adding tags, you can also turn that pop-up window off from X icon > Customize Extensions > One-Click Postage.
Don’t like the new “Sliding New Posts” box? Want to see tags in smaller boxes? Want to remove radar and much more?
